Welcome
Frye Law Offices, PA is the private practice of Katherine A. Frye, a Board Certified Family Law Specialist. For the past eight years, Katherine’s practice has focused on all areas of family law, including separation, divorce, child custody and visitation, child support, postseparation support, alimony, and property distribution.
Not all lawyers are well versed in North Carolina divorce law. Choosing the right divorce lawyer is one of the most important decisions you will make as it will have implications for the rest of your life. Frye Law Offices seeks timely resolution of difficult family situations with a minimal level of confrontation, particularly when children are involved. These resolutions can occur either by agreement or litigation, and we regularly participate and encourage alternate dispute resolution techniques, such as mediation, arbitration and collaborative law.
What should you expect when you contact Frye Law Offices?
We understand that this time in your life is very stressful. To help make your consultation a little less confusing, we have provided a Client Bill of Rights for you to review prior to your initial consultation. Not sure what information you need to provide at your consultation? If you are seeking advise about a divorce or separation, you may refer to our questionnaire to help you begin to gather the necessary information.
When you first contact our office, you will speak with one of our two legal assistants who will ask you some basic questions to obtain background information, which our attorneys will review prior to the initial consultation. Our initial consultation fee is $350.00. A typical consultation lasts for approximately sixty to ninety minutes. After reviewing the issues of your case, we can then provide you with an estimate of the cost of our services in the form of a retainer agreement or engagement letter. You will be provided a written agreement with the terms of our representation and the services that will be provided. Once you have decided to retain our firm, you will deposit a retainer into the Frye Law Offices trust account. Our office sends out monthly statements to keep you apprised of the status of your case and your trust account.
If you would like to meet with either of our experienced attorneys to discuss any family law issues, call our office at 919.846.8807.
